So...my best friend has finally left for his military training and won't be back until June 2013.

As I turned away from his house to walk back to my car, tears rolled down my face. It hit me like a truck that 7 months without a faithful companion is a long time.

Knight was texting me at the moment but even that couldn't turn my frown around.
